Top of page

This is a reminder that the redesigned WFU WordPress header and footer will launch tomorrow, August 20. All WFU WordPress sites will be unavailable from 7-7:30 a.m. while we install these updates.

The update introduces the new Wake Forest logo branding, a modernized look and feel, and improved accessibility while keeping the overall navigation and functionality familiar.

After the update goes live, please take a few minutes to visit your site and make sure everything looks as expected, especially if you’ve customized your header or footer with unique content, unusually long navigation labels, or other special configurations.

To help with the transition, we’ve prepared a guide outlining the changes you’ll see and a few items to review.

In addition: Gravity Forms update

On August 18, we updated Gravity Forms (the tool behind the forms on your site) to a new major version. Most of the changes are behind the scenes, but because it’s a significant update, we’d appreciate your review. If you have a form that uses add-ons or is heavily customized, please take a quick look. Submit a test entry to make sure everything behaves the way you expect. Date fields and address fields are the most likely spots to notice a small visual difference.

If you notice anything unexpected or need assistance making adjustments, please let us know through the Web Request Form. We’re happy to help.
