University Advancement’s Gutenberg-based theme is mobile-friendly, fully accessible to users with disabilities, adheres to Wake Forest’s brand standards and supports the Wake Alert bar.
Migration Pathway
Step 1
Request a Pre-Production Site
Let us know that you are ready to start migrating your site! We will set you up in our pre-production environment.
- Your current public-facing site will not be impacted and will remain online during the migration.
- Your pre-production site won’t be visible to the public.
- If you make any updates to your live site also duplicate them on your pre-production site, the two environments aren’t connected and any updates not transferred will be lost.
Step 2
Sign up for training:
Online
Take our online training at your own pace.
In Person
Sign up for one of our in-person training sessions.

Step 3
Migrate your site.
You will need to manually migrate your content from your old site to your new pre-production site. You might want to try a content audit.
Step 4 (Optional)
Ask a question if you get stuck.
If you get stuck or just need someone to talk to, feel free to fill out our web request form. We will be able to answer your questions and give you some hands-on pointers.
Step 5
Fill out our “Go Live” form.
Once you have completed your migration and your site is ready to go live, fill out the form below and your migration is complete!
