Vendors Global Navigation
Wake Forest has introduced a new global header and footer as part of our updated university branding. To help ensure a consistent experience across Wake Forest websites and third-party services, the Web and Digital Strategy team can provide scripts that approved vendors can incorporate into their websites and applications.
The header and footer are available to vendors as separate integrations that can be used individually or together, depending on their application’s needs.
Who can use Vendor Global Navigation?
Vendor Global Navigation is intended for third-party websites and applications being used to provide services on behalf of Wake Forest. (example: the University Calendar) It is not intended for use on non-WFU sites or on sites dedicated to individuals or student/campus organizations.
Because the global header and footer are official Wake Forest branding, access to the Vendor Navigation script is managed by Wake Forest’s Web and Digital Strategy team.
Requesting Vendor Global Navigation
A Wake Forest employee sponsoring the vendor should request Vendor Global Navigation on the vendor’s behalf.
The request should include:
- The name of the vendor or organization
- The Wake Forest department sponsoring the vendor
- A description of the service or application
- The URL(s) where the global header and/or footer will be used
- Which integration is needed: Global Header, Global Footer, or both
- A technical contact for the implementation
Web and Digital Strategy will review the request and, once approved, provide the vendor with the appropriate scripts and implementation instructions.
Questions?
If you are a Wake Forest employee working with a third-party vendor and need Vendor Global Navigation for a new application or service, submit a Digital Support Request to begin the approval process.
