Top of page

A few weeks ago, we changed how we deploy WordPress. We moved from bi-weekly batch deployments to Continuous Deployment. What does this mean for you? Simple. When we build something new or fix something broken, you get it immediately. No more waiting for the next release cycle.

With updates rolling out continuously, we’re adapting how we communicate:

  • Major updates (new features, breaking changes) will be announced immediately via email and dedicated blog posts (just like we did with our Hide Page Titles feature on October 8).
  • Minor updates (bug fixes, small improvements) will be compiled in a monthly wrap-up post like this one.
  • Plugin updates now happen on the last Thursday of each month instead of bi-weekly.

October 2025: What We Shipped

Much of our focus this month was on preparing the infrastructure to modernize our code base, but we didn’t forget about features you’ve been requesting.

Accessibility Wins

We take accessibility seriously. This month, we:

  • Added pause buttons to autoplaying Featured Videos so users can control their experience;
  • Significantly improved the screen reader navigation in our global nav, making the entire platform easier to use with assistive technology.

Password-Protected Pages Get Smarter

You can now add a custom message above the password entry field on protected pages. Use it to explain why content is restricted, provide instructions for requesting access, or share contact information.

Hide Page Titles (Accessibly)

Earlier this month, we announced the ability to hide page titles while maintaining accessibility standards. Read the full announcement from October 8 to learn how to use it.

Under the Hood

We also made several infrastructure improvements this month, including:

  • Fixed breadcrumb errors that were affecting search indexing;
  • Enhanced theme controls for a cleaner editing interface;
  • Numerous bug fixes and plugin updates.

Today’s Deployment

We’ve just pushed our monthly plugin updates. Everything should be running smoothly, but if you notice anything unusual or have questions, our Digital Request Form is always available.

As always, thank you for being part of our community. Your feedback drives improvements, so keep it coming.
