WP 2.11.7 Deployment
Our deployment today was focused on maintenance updates and small client requests, but we do want to take this opportunity to notify you about important administrative tasks that may require your attention.
Site Owner Updating
In keeping with our commitment to compliance and accountability, the Wake Forest WordPress team collaborated with the Audit & Compliance Office to create a series of steps to ensure that site users remain accurate and responsible.
As part of this process, every site must have designated site owners to ensure that at least one clearly identified team member is responsible for its management and upkeep. Please take a moment to review and update your Site Owner selections in the Site Options. This also helps the WFU WordPress team know who to contact regarding questions about a site.
Also, as an administrator of a website in the Wake Forest WordPress environment, you are responsible for ensuring your site remains secure, active and properly managed. Please take a moment to review and remove any users who should no longer have access, and also make sure to let us know when your site is no longer needed. These responsibilities are outlined in the WordPress Service Level Agreement (SLA). If you have questions, please use the Digital Request Form.
The Wake Forest WordPress team will periodically audit the site owners, site users and site usage to ensure that our environment remains compliant with University standards. Thank you for your help in this process.
