WP 2.11.6 – Introducing WordPress 6.7
While our focus continues to be development of the new Magazine theme, our deployments continue to be maintenance only. Today’s deployment focused on keeping our plugins up-to-date, improving accessibility, and a few small bug fixes.
We did update to WordPress 6.7, after testing it thoroughly in our development environments. We aren’t anticipating any issues, but if you have questions, please let us know using our Digital Request Form.
An Accessibility Win in WordPress 6.7
Great news! A long-requested accessibility fix was included in WordPress 6.7, thanks in part to advocacy from our development and technology accessibility teams. Managing menus will now be significantly easier for screen reader users, transforming an interface that was previously difficult to navigate. This update ensures menu items can be explicitly positioned, making editing large menus more efficient for everyone.
