WP 2.11.2 Deployment – Wrapping up 2024

Our final deployment of the year went live today, wrapping up 2024 with a focus on maintenance and stability improvements. This release primarily addresses plugin updates, bug fixes, and some important server optimizations.

What’s New

Thread Social Icon in the Footer
For those using Thread Social, you now have the option to add a Thread icon in your website’s footer, making it easier for visitors to connect with you on that platform.

Go Links Click Count
We resolved an issue affecting Go Links click counts. With this fix, you can now see accurate click data, giving better insights into link engagement.

Cleaner SiteImprove Reports
A small code snippet in the site header was previously triggering false errors in SiteImprove. This has been corrected, so your reports will now reflect more accurate, actionable information.

Looking Ahead

As this is our final deployment for 2024, our focus will shift to critical updates only for the remainder of the year. Regular deployments will resume in January, bringing new features and improvements based on your feedback.
