Twitter feed issues

As you may have heard, Twitter has been experiencing some instability and that instability has affected most of the world’s external integrations with Twitter. This includes our WordPress sites in relation to a third-party plugin that we use, SmashBalloon Social Feeds, which allows users to include a Twitter feed on their website.

Most recently, Twitter implemented changes that restrict public access to their content, causing disruptions in the functionality of external feeds. The developer of the SmashBalloon plugin is working to adapt to these changes; however, at this time UA WordPress Twitter feeds work intermittently or do not work at all, and there is no fix currently available.

If you have a Twitter feed on your website, you should monitor it or consider replacing it with other content. We will let you know if and when the full Twitter feed functionality returns.
